  Moved from Mi Max 1 to 2 to 3 to Poco x3 pro. Contemplating an upgrade to Poco F4 to replace the MiMax3 at the end of 2023.
  Apart from bloated batteries (can be easily and cheaply replaced) in the Max1 and 2 due to abuse from excessive pokemon go, all of them are still working. The MiMax3 (4yrs+) and Poco X3pro (2yrs+) are still my daily phones. Fingers X'ed.

  permenant missed message alert... has the 3 and 4 got this.. ie when wake in morning glance at fone and immediately see if anything has come in ..like all fones had 2 yrs ago. if you speak to manufacturers please tell them a PERMENANT missed meeesage alert is needed on menu, or praps its on these fones.

  35mm film and a SLR are missed. Phones are pretenders at photography. I wish consumers would stop the dance. Same goes for sound and all it's compressions in digital. Now a smartphone that can scan for health issues I believe.

  Gsmarena has had do much inaccurate info lately, it must be due to the new inferior staff. Fact checking has been unacceptable. Go check the info on poco f4 under the headline, best flagship killers 2022. Most of the info about poco f4 is wrong there. I'm only mentioning this example cause it's relevant to this video.

  Price performance wise POCO F4 is a great phone for someone buying a new phone right now or upgrading from an older chipset. OIS will surely get improvements with software in future. I am very happy with F3 using SD870 and I am sure you will be even happier with an upgraded F4 with OIS, better camera and faster charging.
  
  And yes, do put the right GCam version for POCO F4. For photos GCam is superior (better contrast, more details in darker areas, sharper images, better exposure of the sky and bright lights), while for videos the stock Camera app is better due to great stabilization (on F3 at least).

  I went with s20 FE to upgrade but was considering this for the same price. Camera software is better on the Galaxy and UI in general plus the amoled is better too on the samsung. Software might be only a year or 2 left in support but I'm okay with that.

  If Xiaomi don't bring back SD card support, I'll switch brands. They can't become the iPhones we've been running from with bad software and less camera quality. They really need to reduce the amount of phones they release in a year like half then focused on better software experience and improve camera quality (how hard can that be with all the good camera hardware), it's really sad because I was rooting for them. My Redmi note 9S had gorilla glass 5 on the back.

  watching from my F3, i appreciate how poco doesn't just slap latest tech every year and increase the price.
  instead they do their "major" upgrades on odd generations (F1 and F3), but just simple updates on even generations (F2pro and F4) for people who missed the phone last year, or upgrading from an older phones.
  coincidence or deliberate, it doesn't force us to buy a new phone every year. well, at least so far...
  
  i guess we F3 owners can confidently use this phone at least for another year. and congrats for people who're getting the F4. hopefully we'll see more groundbreaking stuff from the F5 next year.

  My problem with those review is that they don’t speak much about durability, sofware update and performance after 1 year, 2 years, 3 years.
