  My Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 1TB is on HyperOS and there are 2 software bugs:
  
  1. Battery Protection I set it to 80% but my phone charges to 100%.
  2. WhatsApp calls coming in has ringtone, but the screen is still showing homescreen and when the phone is locked, the lock screen doesn't show.

  Been using the xiaomi fold 3 for 2 weeks now after coming from the Samsung Fold 4 which went kaput after a yearwith a malfunctioning inner screen.
  
  In a word, amazing. The fold 3 is a technical marvel. I love the device and its slimmer profile. I find muself using the outer screen more due to its proper size compared to the told 4 and when fully opened, it is a delight tor media consumption. The only negative is that it cannot connect to my garmin venu 2 or android auto. The set up to use google was fairly smooth. Best fold indeed.

  Great video 😊, the Xiaomi Fold 2 is still a phenomenal phone, will wait for the fold 4 international version. This video gives me hope that global version will be even better. This means the Xiaomi fold 4 will be a huge challenge to Samsung, it's going to be hard to beat.

  I have the Fold 3 and am enjoying it very much. Given that it has Google Play I had few problems setting it up down here in NZ. The only problem I have is that some apps such as Rotten Tomatoes displays in Chinese only despite deleting and reinstalling many times. Are there any solutions here?

  Don't support a brand which built poor quality board inside and provide killer updates after some years to upgrade device. I was a huge fan of Xiaomi for past 7yrs. (3devices) each one faced software bug and bootloop issue and had to reset. 2 device board dead all of sudden for no reason. (And this is not juz for me, friends n families had same issues....) So since then I forced myself to leave MiUi (it was hard after 7yrs of experience).

  I've bought Xiaomi Fold 3 a week ago as i like its appearance very much. So i was thinking to migrate from my 3-years old Samsung Fold 2. Unfortunately software is inferior so much, so it's almost impossible to use as a main phone :( Process PowerKeeper prevents messengers from working. For example i cannot get any notifications from Skype. Even after enabling all notifications and allow background work, Skype won't notify. The only solution is to freeze/uninstall (through adb) the PowerKeeper. Another problem is non-working NotificationListenerService service. This is very important service and it's highly tainted by Xiaomi. If you need some useful apps like Alway-On-Edge (OLED notifications), Volumee (to switch track by volume long press), Tasker and many others requiring watch of notifications then all of them will be literally non-working on Xiaomi. You can "fix" it by disabling MIUI optimizations in developer options but it will disable some features in MIUI OS (for example lockscreen will loose a wallpaper, etc).. I'm still exploring this nice by hardware and c.r.a.p. by software phone...
  
  I suspect, for Chinese software it may work good and inside the OS all Chinese services have green light. But for outside of China it's hard to use phone.

  I think it's becoming really necessary to separate Foldable phones from Tablet phones.
  Phones like Pixel Fold or Mix Fold 3 are cool. But they are just phones that unfold into a phone with a bigger screen.
  The lack of stylus support, bad multi tasking/split screen and software that lacks tablet features/inner screen optimisation makes it pretty impossible to use them like tablets.
  Z Fold or Magic V2 actually can be used like small tablets = Tablet Phones.
  Pixel Fold, Mix Fold 3, X Fold 2 etc are Foldable Phones.
