  Disgusting review. You don't actually allow the watch to shine. Your tone is just so discouraging. After watching the apple watch review, it's clear you prefer apple over android. That's fine but you can't let that reflect in your review or otherwise. You should just label your videos a comparison. Once again looking at the apple review, the camera angles and words you chose really allowed the watch to shine. While in this review, you keep the watch at distance and just flick through its features like they aren't important. Forget the actual product, it's the way the review is delivered that's horrible.   to be honest you're just a apple fanboy. the Urbane looks far better than the apple watch and still manages to be cheaper. The screen rounded to look like a, you know, actual watch, while the apple watch is clearly still a beta project. android ware has been improving over the years while apple watch hasn't even added native app support at the moment. Stop trying to compare android ware to the apple watch, you should be comparing the apple watch to android ware. I'm sorry to tell you this, but apple didn't create the first ware-able, only copied Samsung and google when they realized that smart watches were becoming popular. apple's watch ecosystem is far younger than androids and can not be used as a bench mark of what a ware-able should be. But whatever, go ahead and complain about the 350$ price point when the cheapest apple watch is 400$. Obviously people know you're in the wrong considering the dislike bar is higher than the like bar.

  Sorry but I could not disagree more with this review (soo much that I bought one). For me it looks way better than the apple watch (the best looking smartwatch by far until now) and is not big at all (significantly smaller than my dumm watch). To make it better for me it should be even bigger and with more battery life.

  This video review is full of it, he would have loved the design if it was made by apple. Maybe the verge should consider doing reviews that aren't so biased, when the entire comment section can tell you have an obvious personal preference, you probably shouldn't be doing reviews. Look how many thumb down ratings you have! Clearly that needs to be dealt with.   Google made the first wrist OS "android wear". The Apple for the first time launched its own watch OS after Google's. Now we have both OSs and we can make some comparison of the two. Apple watch os is definitely the most complete despite the fact that it is the first generation. It has power save mode, it is a lot customizable, it has App Store. Android wear is just a Google now with notifications and motion tracking. Few apps, few features, lot of bugs, battery problems(see moto360). I mean yes Google now is way better and useful that Siri but that is not enough.
  Finally, we see the first updates and surprisingly Google is starting to copy Apple. With android everyone said "Google did not copy, they've done what it is common sense".... So what about now? 2 years of android wear and they didn't think about "common sense play store". I mean areal one. Ok... Everyone copies everyone but Apple still run the competition.

  Yes, I do feel sorry for the Verge for having a community that is skewed in favor of Android, or rather united in its hatred of everything Apple, and one that perceives it to be anti android / pro Apple. Consumer electronics are about personal taste as much as price and specs / features, and I almost miss the good old days when a simple comment about the price of a device didn't start a flame war over Apple vs Google. Disclaimer : I'm a MacBook / iPad user and I love my LG G3 as well. No one company / platform gets everything right.

  The comparisons to the Apple Watch serve very little purpose if you consider that both Android Wear and the Apple Watch are incompatible with the competing mobile operating system. No one is deciding whether or not to buy this over an apple watch. No one. A comparison to the Moto 360 would have been the extremely obvious, and actually helpful one to make.

  This isn't a review of the G Watch Urbane... This is a review of Android Wear 5.1.1 and complaints on how it's only on the Urbane. Come on, you barely even mentioned the watch. You said it was ugly (it's really pretty imo), then quickly said something about battery-life (not even really specific... how many hours of screen-on-time did you get?) and then you just went on talking about Android Wear 5.1.1 before ending with complaining on how it's only on this watch. How about the screen? The heart-rate-monitor? The level of comfort? The performance? Comnectivity? Really now, Verge?

You said nothing about the watch itself, this should have been titled "How Android Wear 5.1 Tries to be like the Apple Watch". How was the battery life? How was the display?
