  Had no problems with the slider. Almost didn't want to get a new phone until this one breaks. Since I have money now I upgrade my phone but will keep this on the side in case the new one breaks and need this as a backup. The slider did its job.

  Dont get this phone. Over heats. Battery lasts horribly, not even a whole day without having to charge it (unless you download "battery defender"). Camera is sooo choppy and takes forever to take a picture.Small compared to the phones they have out right now. Takes long to download apps. Dont get this phone if your expecting something like an iphone. HOWEVER it is a good phone for a neice or son/dauhghter whos been begging for a phone. its not the best.

  Virgin Mobile had it on their website a few weeks ago for $19.99. I bought it a few days before that for $49.99. After much hassle,they credited my acct $30. I am pretty sure the price was supposed to be good thru 1/3/13 but not long after that , they marked it back up. They said to check their website weekly because they change their specials weekly. Since then I saw the Kyocera Rise for $49.99 -prices change quickly so mojitor their site .

  If you have an hour to spend on the phone arguing with them , you'll get the credit but believe me it was like pulling teeth . They finally credit the difference to my balance so I basically get a free month of service but the full price is still on my credit card . think it was literally two days when the price changed .Good luck .
