  You said in the video that to get the google play store you have to root the phone....can you refer me to a site that has all the necessary software needed to root it?? Thinking about buying one if I can get a hold of the rooting software first...not sure if Cyanogenmod would have it or not...tried to search for it but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks!!

  been using this for almost a year now. No problem whatsoever. battery life is great although i don't play games, just browsing, replying email, whatsapps and call. Be sure to get the 2gb ram. The 1GB ram variant is worthless, upon booting up u only have around 100-200MB free memory and thats bad. The 2gb version is great and it's fast also. I highly recommends this budget 6 inch phone

  Hello, can anyone help me? I have bought A936 and when the screen is off is like the whole mobile is getting to sleep. I dont receive any whats app or any other notification from apps. when i turn on the screen then i see next to the wifi signal 2 arrows up and down like its reaching... can anyone help me? is it the security that blocks is?

  I've had the A936 for more than 6 months and would give it a 7.5 on a 1-10 scale. It came pre-rooted from the seller ($170) with English ROM & G apps installed. I still get some Chinese content and a lot of attempts to trick me into downloading unwanted apps. Caller ID app has never worked properly and difficult to get rid of. I did not like VIBE and use Google launcher with menu button. Difficulty with intermittent Wi-Fi, maybe because of some hidden power saving routine. I like the 6" display for reading but phone is heavy in my pocket and hard to hold one handed. My next phone will be a 5.5" and lighter. Camera images are decent but sometimes very slow to focus, especially in low light. Speaker useless for music. Call quality is very good but I needed a case with front cover to prevent pocket calls and facial contact from cutting off calls. Apps & pages load fast, scrolling is smooth but today, 8gb internal is just not enough. Very solid build...dropped a few times with no problems.
  Most of my use is in Thailand, 4G LTE works pretty well on TRUE network. I was able to use it in the USA on AT&T but not LTE.

  Excellent and a thorough review, thank you.  I received my A936 earlier this week from a reliable supplier.  Its a great phone :-)  Ready Rooted and Google Play installed for the same 2GB RAM version as you have. 
  
  Everything was fine until I disabled some system apps and something has happened.  A small black rectangle keeps appearing (above the menu on the screen) and disappearing every 3 seconds.  This lasts a short while however it does not affect functionality but is annoying !  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.  :-)

  You shoud chcek out the Meizu M1 Note. It also has a Mediatek MTK 6752 and a 5.5 inch 1080p display. And it costs around 200$
