  Back in 2009/10 this was amongst my HTC collection. Really enjoyed the Hero but the trackball was never the best and it stopped working one day and rendered navigation of the phone almost useless.

  Aw, this commercial brings back memories of my first smart phone. One of the things I really loved about this device is what the manufacturer calls HTC Sense! by far even to this day, is one of the best mobile software enhancers out there. If it was that good in 2009 when I had mine, I'd imagine that it's much better now. Quietly brilliant!

  my friends iphone 3gs broke, so he had to use his old phone (htc hero) i installed cyanogenmod 7 on it for him, and it works pretty well, there is lag, but nothing major

  @0mgkylerox That isn't an Android phone, you know.meaning that although this video came out at least a year after the Freestyle did, it won't have anywhere near this functionality. It isn't a smart phone, and I'd get the HTC Rezound if I were you, or the Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket if you have the budget. The Freestyle runs Brew MP, an OS just like Android, except designed for much more low-end phones.
