Massive chin, no Headphone jack, no microSD and MIUI 8?? Meh. No thanks.... I haven't ventured away from Samsung since the Nexus 5 launch. And I LOVED my Nexus 5 but after awhile I began to miss all the great features Samsung usually offers as a standard like expandable storage, battery longevity, amazing display resolution, and quality materials and designs etc. I would just like to change it up and go with something other than Samsungs S and Note series but the smartphone market doesn't seem to offer everything in one package like Samsung seems to keep doing....

if they kept the original size and the audio jack and made it 2k display it would've rocked better

I'm not certain on mi mix 2 but I have mi mix , weakness of the kernel is in their UI.. I use landscape more than portrait.. its not entirely supported on all aspecs. Software update isn't any better.. I have other brand Android device didn't have these flaws.. only one would know when having experience with comparable spec phone owners.... Aside from that phone hardware is pretty nice...wish they really do something on their software functionality.

Make the chin and forehead 2mm thick.
Place 2 front facing speakers, 1 bottom, 1 on the earpiece.
Put all the sensors beside the earpiece.
Put 2 cameras at the back.
5.7 inch is the sweet spot for 18:9 aspect ratio.
Go stock android.
Bring back the headphone jack and put a DAC on it.

Do this and you'll be better than Samsung and Apple.
